COACH CORE WELCOMES NEW TEAMS FOR 2017-2018

Its been a very busy summer for our Glasgow, South Wales, London and Essex programmes! Starting their fourth, third and two second years respectively, the teams have been hard at work to recruit and prepare for new cohorts entering their partnerships.

Central to Essex operations is Active Essex, the community sports partner for the county. Project lead Louise Voyce stated

“We absolutely loved our first year on the programme and seeing the journey these young people all went on was just incredible. We have worked really hard with our employers to improve on this even more and we can’t wait to get started with the new group this week”.

All programmes will adhere to the Coach Core ethos of fun, inclusive and progressive coaching. We encourage each programme to shape and adapt our education framework around the needs of their learner, the employers and the communities in which they serve. However, one consistent factor is that all Coach Core programmes have a full time, dedicated tutor-mentor who is relatable, inspiring and can take them on a real journey personally as well as professionally.

“I’m raring to go” said London tutor Nathan Daly. “Last year was amazing but I think with all we learnt from the employers but also the apprentices themselves, this year’s apprentices are really going to benefit from this. We have more training, opportunities and experiences than ever before and I’m already loving working with the new team!”
