Our Coach Core Manchester apprentices were inspired today by the visit of one of our principals, His Royal Highness Prince Harry. On duty as patron of the Rugby League, Prince Harry was in Manchester on an official visit to the national team players and staff but kindly gave up time to visit the apprentices as they coached a session at Manchester City.

Emma, multi sports apprentice said

“He was so cool and really nice. He knew all about what we had been doing and it was great to see him get involved with the session. The kids went mad!”.

The Coach Core Manchester apprentices are entering the final phase of their learning and took the opportunity to showcase their skills before completing the programme in December this year. The event was also attended by Mayor of Manchester, Andy Burnham and a Rugby League Director, Kevin Sinfield.
